    Dear CNPS colleagues:
I have made a fundamental discovery concerning the origin of light.
The emission of photons – or light – is due to an impulse shaped electric field, caused by the jump of en electron to a lower state. Studying this matter, it appeared to me that Compton share my point of view that electrons can orbit infinitely, without losing energy.
My theory has been extensively described in the SPIE proceedings ‘Photon as a Classical Wave Packet from Classically Stabilized Electron Orbits’, The Nature of Light, Volume 6664, pp. 33 DOI: 10.1117/12.747574

A broader discussion is offered in my (former) NPA proceedings: 2008 Turning Back to Coulomb’s Law as a Basis for Electromagnetism Proceedings of the NPA, Volume 5, No. 1, pp. 113-118, https://www.naturalphilosophy.org/site/member/?memberid=304&subpage=abstracts

    With best regards
