Abstract

It is shown that a group velocity is velocity of wave interference picture of second kind. It has not any attitude for energy motion by a wave. It is shown also, that an energy velocity is equal to the ratio of flux density to energy density of wave transverse components. The energy velocity and phase velocity has an identical direction, and they have simple connection ve = 2vp(1+vp2/c2).
