Motion is not Free

No matter what is moving, something gets used up when causing the object to move. It takes gas to move a car; it takes rocket fuel to move a rocket; and it takes calories to lift your coffee cup. So how is it that gravity can move galaxies all over the universe and not use once ounce of anything?

It can't!
