It is shown in the paper that there is a misunderstanding of the 'expansion' of the universe. The new model gives a value for omega(matter) of 0.25 as in WMAP5 (0.249). There is also a good match to the supernovae data without dark energy. Dark energy is an illusion created due to the misunderstanding of the relationship between redshift and scale-factor. http://vixra.org/abs/1003.0222
