	Recent experiments(*) with superluminal phenomena are suggesting that Einstein?s interpretation for the light behavior needs to be re-estimated. There are physicists believing that a natural consequence of these experiments can be the breakdown of the fundamental principle of relativity. From this point of view, not only Einstein?s philosophical interpretation of the Theory of Relativity can be wrong, but also all the mathematical formalism of the theory is threatened. The eminent mathematician Dr. Waldyr Rodrigues wrote at the end of a paper(1): ?The existence of superluminal electromagnetic waves implies the breakdown of the principle of relativity?.
