Steven M. Greer MD, is the founder and director of The Disclosure Project, dedicated to the public release of all government information related to paranormal phenomena.

Dr. Greer is a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the nation's most prestigious medical honor society. Dr. Greer is an emergency physician and former chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in North Carolina.

On May 9, 2001, Dr. Greer presided over The Disclosure Project Press Conference from the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
